I’m Addy Saeed with Re/max Active Realty in Mississauga and I’m pleased to announce that I’ve been nominated to run as Councilor for Toronto Real Estate Board’s Commercial Division for the year 2013/2014.
Let me tell you a bit about myself. I have an educational background in Business and Information systems and have worked for companies such as Siemens and RGIS managing national and international customers in capacities of Purchasing, office manager and Business Development Manager.
I wanted to be in real estate since high school and registered with OREA in 1998. I never finished my OREA courses rather went into studying and working until I returned in 2005 to finish and joined RE/MAX. I started in Residential Real Estate and have since graduated and work as a commercial realtor with primary focus on Income Real Estate.
Why should you vote for me?
We have seen our industry change drastically over the past fifteen years. I’ve been observing it since 1998 when there were no buyer agency agreements and now we are facing threats from both internal and external sources. TREB has done an amazing job in protecting our membership and we need to continue the tradition.
I would like to step forward to provide leadership and my input as a new comer to the industry. Better integration of technology, collection and disbursement of data and value added benefits for our membership would be my priority.
