Top 7 Summer Food Events

Toronto and its surrounding area is not short of food festivals this summer! From pop ups to high end establishments, these festivals have a lot to offer Toronto area foodies. Whether you’re staying in the city or going on a weekend getaway, here are my top picks for good eating all summer long.

Summerlicious

Toronto’s top restaurants offer pre fixe menus to patrons. Dine for less and try out some typically expensive establishments. Lunches cost between $18 and $18, and dinner will be between $25 and $45. Summerlicious runs from July 3-26 so book your reservations now!

Food Truck Fest

The Food Truck Festival of Ontario or FTFO is an elaborate one day only event on September 27th at Downsview Park. Get the best of all of Ontario’s food trucks in one convenient location. Eat like a foodstar all day long!

Vegan Food and Drink Festival

Vegans can have fun too! Enjoy all your usual comfort foods like tacos, sandwiches, poutine, pizza and mac & cheeze while enjoying live performances. The Vegan Food and Drink Festival takes place on August 8th at Fort York.

The Sandbanks Food Fair

Go to picturesque Prince Edward County and enjoy the 3rd annual edition of the Food Fair at Sandbanks winery. If delicious food and drinks while listening to live music your sorta thing, don’t miss this event on July 18th.

Flavours of Muskoka Chautauqua

A highly anticipated event in beautiful cottage country! Local vendors get together on June 28th to raise money in support of community initiatives. Called the “amazing graze” don’t miss the Flavours of Muskoka Chautauqua festival.

Creemore’s Copper Kettle Festival

There’s a party a brewin’ in Creemore! Enjoy the small town vibe whilst celebrating with the people behind Creemore brewery. 90 minutes from Toronto and only 20 minutes to Wasaga Beach, enjoy Creemore’s Copper Kettle Festival!

Moonlight Market

Enjoy all downtown Collingwood has to offer under the twinkle of starlight! The 3rd annual Moonlight Market takes place on September 5th and offers a diverse range of crafters and vendors.
