Spotlight: Toronto Summer Nightlife

DrakeSkyYard

Toronto nightlife truly comes alive in the warmer months. From rooftop patios and poolside cabana, summer nightlife in Toronto is on fire. There is something for everyone with my top picks for a summer night on the town. Read below for listings:

Drake Sky Yard

This is an all seasons patio that defies the usual patio convention of shutting down the colder months. Enjoy the open air on West Queen West with a casual dinner or late night stargazing. Tastefully decorated, Drake Sky Yard is the perfect place to host a party, meet a client or cut loose for a night on the town.

Cabana Pool Bar

Cabana Pool Bar claims to “transforms Toronto’s waterfront into a “Day-to-Night” party spot with private cabanas, daybeds & room for 2500 Sun Worshippers.” Features new this year include a slushie bar, water taxi’s and complimentary hair and makeup for ladies on Saturday and Sunday. Will you be hitting up this pool bar?

Promise Cherry Beach Sundays

This long running party brings a chill vibe to Cherry Beach and runs on donations. Bring a beach blanket, frisbee and goodwill to this perennial Toronto favourite. This is a bro free destination that features local DJ’s and a laser show surrounded by beach, sand and trees.

Here is a video from couple years back that I made when attending the event.  It is now bigger and better with lots of local talent making appearances.

Muzik Beach

Cabanas, white sand, a beer garden and gourmet quality BBQ make Muzik Beach a club experience not to be missed. Memberships are now available for the season if you are looking to attend regularly.

EFS

Looking for a patio with a cool chilled out vibe? Look no further than EFS. Servicing local 20 something business people in the King West area, you can look forward to tasty cocktails at your new afterwork destination.
