Wasn’t that a yard sale?
Over forty offices in Ontario Atlantic Canada take on a new meaning of yard sale. On May 30th, 2009 RE/MAX offices raised the bar with their events in support of breast cancer research and treatment. There was certainly no shortage of creativity this year many yard sales included live bands, bbq’s, face and nail painting, live and silent auctions. Others really got out of the box; RE/MAX Landmark Realty Inc; hosted scrap booking for the cure with a catered lunch!
Many offices rallied local businesses to get behind this great cause donating entertainment, food, drinks and even local radio station live remotes at the sales. RE/MAX Erie Shores in Simcoe where very successful in their efforts were their local Scotia Bank matched the total RE/MAX fundraising dollars from the yard sale.
The sky is the limit with endless possibilities.
There’s no question Yard Sale for the cure certainly brings RE/MAX and the community together for an incredible cause. In just one day over $90,000.00 was raised nationally. Thank you to all our participating Broker Owners, Managers, Sales Associates and support staff who worked tirelessly to ensure the success of this event.
