Halloween is just around the corner and vivid memories of hoarding massive amounts of candy and donning costumes to terrorize your local neighborhood begin to arise. Toronto, however, “terrorizes” on a much bigger scale. The 2012 Toronto Zombie Walk on Saturday, October 20th allows you to join in with throngs of your fellow Torontonians for a day of terrorizing on the streets of Toronto.
The event which began in 2003 now draws in hundreds of ghastly participants covered in blood, guts and anything else faint-inducing you can think of. Participants will gather at Nathan Phillips Square at 12 pm and the parade will begin at 3pm. This year’s parade route will differ from the prior year and will consist of circling City Hall: heading west on Queen, north on University, east on Dundas, south on Yonge and finally concluding back west on Queen.
