Things to do this weekend – Dec 16

• Skate Culture events continue at Harbourfront Centre, including this Saturday night’s 1 LOVE T.O. Holiday Ice Skating Party on The Natrel Rink.

• Other seasonal programming continues at Black Creek Pioneer Village, Casa Loma, and Toronto’s historic museums.

• Evergreen Brick Works is holding a Winter Festival on Saturday with a winter farmer’s market, skating, food and more.

• These are the final few days for the Lowe’s Toronto Christmas Market, which continues at the Distillery District until Sunday.

• There’s special Mediatheque on Ice programming for families on now at the NFB Mediatheque, including animated holiday e-card workshops and free holiday screenings.

• Mariposa Cruise Lines is offering a Holiday Dinner Cruise on Saturday night and daytime Santa Cruises on both Saturday and Sunday.

• The Santa Cruises are part of Winterfest on Toronto’s Waterfront, which is also on Saturday and Sunday.

• This is the final weekend for Winter Magic Buskertainment in the Downtown Yonge BIA.

• Most of the Christmas craft shows for this year have come and gone, but there’s still one more weekend of the Artisans’ Gift Fair at the Tranzac.

• Other last minute shoppers can familiarize themselves with the holiday shopping hours at Toronto area malls.

• The National Ballet of Canada’s annual production of The Nutcracker continues until January 3rd.

• The third annual CityTV Carol Sing is on Saturday afternoon at Yorkminster Park Baptist Church in support of food banks.
