What would you take if your house was on fire?

Foster Huntington, a former NYC fashion designer, quit his job and bought a Volkswagen van. Since then, he’s been living and touring the road, taking photos for his personal blog and Instagram hashtag, “#vanlife”.

Huntington’s blog, entitled “The Burning House”, aims to answer the question of what you’d take if your house was on fire. Visitors are asked to submit a photo of what they’d take; and responses have varied. Some interpret the question as “what they would need to survive”, and others take it to mean “what their most irreplaceable and valuable possessions are”.
